I see light!

I see light! Well it's because It is 6:07am and I have just under 2 hours left of my shift. I worked an overnight shift and I am lucky enough to be able to use Internet all night long. I have been up since 10am yesterday and my head feels heavy. Doing these overnight shifts are really tough on me. Sunday, aka grocery shopping day, is the day where I feel like I am a zombie. Most cases I either act like one, or I look like one.

I only make a few dollars an hour and I usually work 8am-8pm Thursdays. I get to cover other shifts once in a while to make extra money. Not really extra in my mind, more like just a little bit more to ease the pain of being broke. Playing video games on my many days off may seem like a mans wonderful ideal of life. Don't get me wrong. I love my games. But I also like to buy things like food, gas for the car , something nice for my loved one. Kelly and I have been together nearly two years now and we're both in difficult financial situations. We're dealing with it the best we can just like everyone else out there. Trying to build a life with someone when both partners are struggling to figure themselves out when it comes to a career is stressful. She stresses out because things aren't changing and all I do is say things will change eventually.

The natural cycle of life brings many changes. They just never happen when you want them to.
